I thought there must be a way to leverage capitalism to drive sustainable solutions so that businesses can profit while communities thrive.
I wanted to find ways for young people like me who are business-minded to learn about and connect with pioneering entities working to mitigate climate change.
Tejas was inspired to launch Youth Carbon Alliance (YCA) after attending the 2023 COP28 UN Climate Conference. Curious about the intersection between capitalism and sustainability, Tejas began connecting and meeting with innovative businesses working on climate solutions--companies that are making a significant environmental impact while remaining economically viable.
Seeing a range of ambitious projects, innovative technologies, and new business ideas capable of combating climate change, Tejas formed YCA to help aspiring leaders become more informed and involved in tackling climate change through engagement in impactful projects around the world.
